Abstract
⺠The capital and operation costs of an evaporative gas turbine cycle integrated with CO2 capture were estimated. ⺠MEA-based CO2 capture has a lower cost of electricity than oxyfuel combustion due to a higher efficiency. ⺠Plant size has clear effects on the cost of CO2 avoidance for both CO2 capture options. ⺠The evaporative gas turbine cycle has higher costs of electricity and CO2 avoidance than the combined cycle.
