Abstract
⺠The ETHPA recorded a 4.53% higher optical efficiency compared to the CAETHPA. ⺠An overall improvement of 24% in heat loss coefficient was realised by the CAETHPA compared to the ETHPA. ⺠Crossover in efficiency occurs at abscissa values of 0.10 Km2 Wâ1 in favour of the CAETHPA compared to the ETHPA system. ⺠The total energy collected represents a 17% improvement recorded by the CAETHPA compared to the ETHPA. ⺠The use of a CAETHPA is a more economical alternative for meeting the heating and cooling demands.
