Abstract
⺠Seven methods to assess the effectiveness in determining the Weibull distribution. ⺠The wind speed data was collected in Camocim and Paracuru cities, Ceará, Brazil. ⺠The equivalent energy method is a suitable alternative. ⺠The energy pattern factor method and the graphical method are the least effective.
