Abstract
⺠Attentional processes are associated with anxiety-related underperformance. ⺠The WM intervention improved WM performance, IQ and behavioural inhibition. ⺠The WM intervention was linked to lower test anxiety and emotional symptoms. ⺠Improved WM was maintained over a three month period. ⺠Lower anxiety symptoms were not maintained over time.
