Abstract
⺠A group scheduling problem on unrelated-parallel machines is addressed. ⺠Bi-criteria objective function is considered to benefit both the producer and customers. ⺠Sequence-dependent setups and dynamic job releases/machine availabilities are assumed. ⺠A mixed-integer linear programming model is developed to solve the model optimally. ⺠Tabu-search based algorithms are developed to efficiently solve the industry-size problems.
