Particle swarm optimization with query-based learning for multi-objective power contract problem

► We present a new algorithm called QBL-PSO (query-based learning PSO). ► QBL-PSO can improve both the exploratory and exploitable capabilities in optimization. ► Testing in multi-objective power conservation problem indicates QBL-PSO can reduce power consumption. ► Results show that QBL-PSO attains better convergence, diversity and precision then PSO.
