Abstract
⺠We constructed the AGA/KNN method for evolving efficiently gene subsets. ⺠For the objective of reduce the dimension of microarray data, AGA/KNN can be a useful tool. ⺠For binary or several categories data sets, the categories can be classified correctly by AGA/KNN. ⺠The accuracy and the efficiency of AGA/KNN are better than that of GA/KNN.
