Abstract
⺠Adaptive fuzzy PI-like controllers can improve the regulation of the DC-bus voltage in wind energy conversion systems. ⺠An adaptive fuzzy controller based on a variable structure algorithm is robust as the estimator gets rid of the integrator action. ⺠Simulation results based on a 9 MW wind farm confirms the superiority of the proposed adaptive fuzzy controller.
