Abstract
► We model Early warning of enterprise decline in a life cycle using neural networks and rough set theory. ► We examine the utilization of rough set for attribution reduction as a data preprocessing technique. ► Based on an interesting dataset from Chinese market, favorable accuracy is yielded in predicting whether enterprises will fall into decline or not.
