Abstract
⺠This study is associated with a forward-chained, rule-based prediction algorithm. ⺠We test two heuristics that improve the classification accuracy of predictions. ⺠Predictions using variables relevant to the target variable result in higher accuracy. ⺠Accuracy is also improved by adjusting rules' weight to offset class imbalance.
