Re-examining information systems user performance: Using data mining to identify properties of IS that lead to highest levels of user performance

► We explored the development of a theoretical model that relates properties of ERP systems and end-user performance. Our exploratory decision tree based approach that: a) generates; does preliminary testing of the theoretical model; b) produces actionable rules that provide guidance to managers for ERP system configuration decisions. We also proposed a new hybrid process for empirically based Theory Development.
