Abstract
A fuzzy set does represent a concrete use of an imprecise predicate in a given context, that is, its meaning à la Wittgenstein. The diverse theories of fuzzy sets come from accepting that also the connectives are to be used in different ways, that they do have meaning. This paper aims to suggest the importance of finding counterparts of the theories of fuzzy sets, in either natural or artificial languages, as a first step towards a new experimental view of theoretical fuzzy logic.
