Abstract
⺠Acoustic sensing represents a promising approach to scaling biodiversity monitoring. ⺠Analysing large volumes of sound for biodiversity monitoring is challenging. ⺠Traditional analysis approaches as applied to speech recognition are ineffective. ⺠A range of approaches are required to effectively analyse environmental sound. ⺠The ability to collaborate, review, and discuss sound analysis results is vital.
