Abstract
⺠A polar configuration is a triangle fan within a quad-dominant mesh. ⺠It occurs naturally where many parameter lines join. ⺠We construct a single degree-(3, 6) spline that caps a given polar configuration. ⺠This C2 polar spline joins C2 with surrounding bicubic splines.
