Abstract
⺠Techniques to semi-automatically extract building footprints from images of archive maps are presented. ⺠Data alignment methods are used to improve the extraction results. ⺠Modern vector data may be used to improve the accuracy. ⺠The extraction times may be reduced when extracting multiple maps of the same area.
