Abstract
⺠We made an accessible Virtual Environment of an extinct culture for modern users. ⺠We prepare users for the San culture with a primer VE that is culturally familiar. ⺠We measured several aspects of experience: presence showed significant improvement. ⺠Hip-hop themed priming was only effective for users with an interest in the genre. ⺠One must uncover users' cultural affinities for cultural priming to be useful.
