Abstract
⺠We use image processing for assignments of an introductory programming course that uses Java. ⺠Programming course consists of mainly information systems students, undergraduates and graduates. ⺠Students progressively build a single application with a GUI that supports most image formats. ⺠Our approach can be modified for CS1/2 type traditional programming courses.
