Abstract
An exploration of topics pertinent to Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) including address space expansion, network topology changes, and IPSec. It also includes analysis of the problems of Network Address Translation (NAT) and how IPv6 will resolve them as well as an investigation of the limitations of the current Internet and how this new protocol will resolve them in the context of the modern corporation. Attention is also given to migration strategies for transitioning from the current Internet standard to the new one and protocols available today to facilitate the process.
