Abstract
The dispersion properties of high-index-core Bragg fibers are investigated by the supercell model. We illuminate the scaling properties of waveguide dispersion, and discuss the dependence of waveguide dispersion on fiber structure parameters including the core radius, the radial periodicity and the filling ratio of cladding. With these arguments, we present some designs of flattened dispersion at 1.55 μm.
