Abstract
► Pre-spectrum sliced seed light for low-cost seeded WDM-PON is proposed. ► The re-injected spectrum sliced backward ASE was used for high efficient PS-SL. ► BER performances were improved with narrow-bandwidth seed signals of PS-SL. ► The PS-SL was tolerated to controlled environmental condition.
