Abstract
⺠The problem of dual link failure in WDM optical networks has been addressed. ⺠The strategy is based on the protection and restoration mode of connection recovery. ⺠Proposed strategy outperforms the other existing strategies. ⺠Parameters compared are connection blocking, recoverability, and resource utilization.
