Abstract
⺠A broadband fiber source is spectrally stabilized to 1.3 ppm/°C over a 100 °C change. ⺠A thermal gain model is set up to predict its thermal insensitive wavelength. ⺠Thermal-management combined with backward spectral filtering is used. ⺠Three newly developed gain fibers are used to optimize the fiber source's output. ⺠The source is useful for high precision fiber optic gyroscope sensor application.
