Abstract
⺠We study the research efforts of Clinical Decision Support for the last 20 years. ⺠We examine why there are so many definitions and architectures in CDS literature. ⺠We find that the CDS architectures are coalescing toward an integrated architecture. ⺠This finding is supported by current CDS research, EHR vendors and several national projects.
