Abstract
⺠We present a heuristic to find optimal gradient vector fields on finite cell complexes. ⺠A new representation (Homological Spanning Forest, HSF) based in homological algebra. ⺠The HSF is a suitable framework for efficiently compute advanced topo-logical information.
