Abstract
⺠The chordlet dictionary has elements that are quantized by endpoints and in curvature. ⺠The chordlet framework provides a visually natural representation of curves in images. ⺠The chordlet is more efficient than the beamlet for images with large-scale curved edges. ⺠The chordlet provides better performance over the JBIG2 standard for a class of images.
