Abstract
⺠We evaluated the implementation fidelity of an ergonomic back pain prevention program. ⺠Designed for healthcare organizations, it focuses on patient handling and transfer techniques. ⺠Over the previous 12 months, 61.5% of the active peer trainers had been engaged in training activities. ⺠Most of them taught safe patient handling, positioning, transfer, and preparation techniques. ⺠72.7% were involved in prevention activities, 46.1% in follow-up activities, and 10.7% in follow-up monitors training.
