Abstract
⺠The adsorption and thermal stability of OTTPs on Au(1 1 1) surface were studied. ⺠OTTPs lie flat on the surface, which is assigned as a (9 Ã 2â33)R5°. ⺠OTTPs decompose to produce H2 and H2S via C-S bond scission above 450 K. ⺠Dehydrogenation occurs above 600 K, leaving carbon clusters on Au(1 1 1).
