Abstract
⺠A liquid drop deposited on a cosine wave-like pattern surface is simulated. ⺠The three-phase contact line is non-circular and corrugated. ⺠Contact angle varies along with contact line. ⺠Advancing/receding contact angles depend upon viewing angle and drop volume. ⺠Magnitude of variation of the contact angles decreases with increasing drop volume.
