Abstract
⺠Mixed micelles may grow in completely different manners with respect to width and length. ⺠Addition of salt may fundamentally alter the growth behaviour of mixed ionic micelles. ⺠Growth behaviour is influenced by different trends of bending rigidity and saddle-splay constant. ⺠The micelle-to-bilayer transition is significantly shifted as salt is added to surfactant mixtures. ⺠The choice of H2O or D2O as solvent has a significant effect on the micelle-to-bilayer transition.
