Abstract
⺠A novel protein sequestration method is reported using polymeric colloidal particles. ⺠Polymeric colloids are functionalized with cationic poly(4-vinylpyridine) copolymer. ⺠BSA can be sequestered highly efficiently with a capacity of about 900 mg/g. ⺠The colloidal particles can be regenerated by buffer solution of high ionic strength. ⺠The particles have stable zeta potentials regardless of solution pH variations.
