Abstract
⺠Particle-stabilized foams are used to make macroporous organic/inorganic composite materials. ⺠Phase distribution is controlled by competitive and preferential adsorption at foam interfaces. ⺠Effects of particle composition and wettability on foam microstructure are examined. ⺠Process leads to wide range of closed-pore composite materials with tailored phase distributions.
