Abstract
⺠We have prepared double- or single-stranded DNA/polycation formulations. ⺠DNA/polycation mixtures presented widely different properties. ⺠Phase separation was observed at sub-stoichiometric and intermediate charge ratios. ⺠Redissolved viscoelastic one-phase mixtures formed at a modest excess of polycation. ⺠We have observed non-monotonic variations in rheological parameters.
