Abstract
⺠A facile hydrothermal synthetic route was developed for porous CuO superstructures. ⺠The porous CuO superstructures exhibit higher sensing response than CuO powder. ⺠Enhanced photocatalytic activity of the CuO superstructures was also demonstrated.
