Abstract
⺠Ultrathin gold nanocrystals were photo-synthesized on graphene nanosheets. ⺠Oxygen groups on graphene oxide were effectively removed by photo irradiation. ⺠The nanohybrids displayed excellent catalysis toward methanol oxidation.
