Abstract
⺠Optical observations of the dissolution behaviour of various binary mixtures. ⺠Miscible interfaces are endowed with surface tension. ⺠Interfaces smear due to interdiffusion. ⺠Glycerol/water and soybean oil/hexane interfaces move due to barodiffusion. ⺠IBA/water interfaces move due to spontaneous imbibition.
