Abstract
⺠We have developed a general thermodynamic model for biomolecule surface transformations. ⺠The model leads to a modified law of mass action for surfaces. ⺠The predictive value of this thermodynamic approach is tested on typical examples. ⺠Featured examples include biological-inorganic flat and nanoparticle interfaces.
