Abstract
⺠Micellization of Sulfobetaine Zwitterionic Gemini Surfactants is entropy-driven. ⺠The enthalpy-entropy compensation temperature is (302 ± 3) K. ⺠The contribution of enthalpy increases with temperature. ⺠A longer spacer chain length can enhance the formation and stability of micelles. ⺠Thermodynamic results are similar to the anionic rather than cationic surfactants.
