Abstract
⺠Synthesis of Fe3O4/poly(fluorescein O-methacrylate) core/shell nanoparticles. ⺠We fabricated core/shell nanoparticles via surface-initiated polymerization. ⺠Particle size, morphology, and aggregation behavior are controllable. ⺠These nanoparticles exhibit strong fluorescence and superparamagnetic behavior. ⺠We demonstrated the potential bioimaging applications of multifunctional particles.
