Abstract
⺠Vesicles, disks, and threadlike micelles were formed in model phospholipid-detergent mixtures. ⺠Micro and nanostructures were studied by fluorescence lifetime microscopy and dynamic light scattering. ⺠Disks were smaller, more rigid, and less stable than coexistent unilamellar vesicles. ⺠Threadlike micelles were formed from aggregation and fusion of spherical micelles.
