Abstract
⺠A novel method for the estimation of the surfactant monolayer capacity is proposed. ⺠The driving force of adsorption is determined as a function of the adsorbed amount. ⺠A 2D thin alkane film is formed once a certain adsorbed amount is exceeded. ⺠The driving force of adsorption is not affected by the number of glucose units.
