Abstract
► Amino-modified SiO2 nanospheres were used as sacrificial templates. ► The cavity volume of the nanocapsule was controlled by the core templates. ► Natural polysaccharides were selected to build the LbL assembly cyst wall. ► The cyst wall of the nanocapsule was pH and ionic strength dual responsive.
