Abstract
► Role of PEIs molecular weight on its adsorption to ZnO nanoparticles was studied. ► PEI forms a jellyfish-like structure with the ZnO nanoflakes. ► Highly stable suspensions were obtained with PEI with the highest molecular weight. ► Densely oriented green ZnO thin films were obtained by EPD from these suspensions.
