Abstract
► Uricase and fatty acids formed hybrid Langmuir monolayers. ► Films were transferred to solid supports as LB films in several architectures. ► Enzyme activity on uric acid was measured. ► One single enzyme-lipid layer transferred resulted in the best sensor.
