Abstract
⺠Micellization of sodium dodecylsulfate in aqueous nitric acid has been studied. ⺠Competitive binding of sodium and hydrogen counterions occurs. ⺠The system exhibits normal and unusual conductivity behavior. ⺠Conductivity data fit nicely to theoretical equations. ⺠This system may act as green medium for nitration of organic molecules.
