Abstract
⺠SAXD and Raman study of Cyt c entrapped into the phytantriol/water phases. ⺠Cyt c induces transformation of Q230 and Q224 cubic phases to Q229 phase. ⺠Heme of Cyt c in Q230 phase retains its low-spin state and 6-ligand coordination. ⺠Cyt c induces spectroscopic changes of Phyt bands similar as decrease in temperature.
