Abstract
⺠We investigate the hydrostatic effects in the capillary rise. ⺠Derived an improved expression. ⺠Feasibility confirmed by high correlation coefficients and good reproducibility. ⺠The validity of the improved expression was confirmed. ⺠It becomes possible to more precisely measure the wettability of small particles.
