Abstract
► We use a boundary-element method to model DEP interaction of two ellipsoid particles. ► Particles are 3D non-conducting, prolate spheroids. ► Results explain the chaining mechanism behind experimental phenomenon seen previously. ► Electro-orientation is completed much faster than global realignment.
