Abstract
⺠PMMA-CS/ZnO hybrid particles were prepared by soap-free emulsion polymerization. ⺠Effects of polymerization time and amount of ZnO added were investigated. ⺠Formation of PMMA-CS/ZnO hybrids was confirmed by TGA and TEM. ⺠The PMMA-CS/ZnO hybrid latexes possessed high positive surface charges (40-51 mV). ⺠Electrochemical property of PMMA-CS/ZnO electrode was traced by cyclic voltammetry.
