Abstract
⺠Core and shell particles were prepared by dispersion and emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization. ⺠Heterocoagulates were fabricated by coagulation between core and shell particles. ⺠Surface modification was carried out by surface-initiated ATRP from heterocoagulates. ⺠Surface-grafted heterocoagulates were catalytically hybridized with silica. ⺠Hollow particles with controlled morphology were obtained by calcination of hybrids.
