Abstract
⺠Bimetallic Au/Pt nanodendrites were successfully prepared by seeded growth method. ⺠Pt/Au catalysts show high activity for ethanol oxidation in alkaline condition. ⺠The finding will be avail to develop advanced catalysts in direct ethanol fuel cell. ⺠First report about Pt/Au nanostructures as catalysts for ethanol electro-oxidation.
